Volvo TAM42 AWJ

Customer reported engine to have increasing crank case pressure over a period of several months. Being a commercial application, the owner pre-booked a build slot with Precision Engine Services to minimise down-time to his business. Unit received to the workshop and full strip commenced. On examination, four of the six cylinders found to have broken compression rings on the pistons which would give the symptoms found by the customer. Engine rebuilt using genuine Volvo Penta parts and test run on completion. Returned to the customer within his expected time frame.
